What it is

A prompt pack — a zip with a master prompt, a fillable input template, sample input, sample output, and a short README. You paste two things into a Claude.ai chat: your company profile (a 3-sentence-minimum paragraph covering NAICS, certifications, and past performance) and a SAM.gov CSV export. You get back a triage table scoring every opportunity 1–5 with a one-sentence why-fit, one-sentence why-not-fit, a recommended action, and a next step per row — plus a Go list of the top 1–2 candidates with a one-paragraph rationale each.

No install. No plugin. No account. Open a fresh Claude chat, paste two files, get a brief. The whole thing fits in one conversation.

How it works

  1. Fill your company profile in INPUT-TEMPLATE.md

Open INPUT-TEMPLATE.md and write a 3-sentence-minimum paragraph covering your primary NAICS code(s), active certifications (8(a), SDVOSB, WOSB, HUBZone, SB, or unrestricted), and recent past performance. Keep a local copy to paste from each run — the prompt requires this paragraph fresh with each SAM.gov export.

  2. Export your SAM.gov saved search as CSV

From SAM.gov, export the saved search you already run every morning as a CSV. The pack requires 7 columns: Notice ID, Title, Agency, NAICS Code, Set-Aside, Posted Date, Response Date. If your export is missing any required column, the prompt refuses with a fixed error message and tells you which column to add. The README links to SAM.gov's export instructions if it's your first time.

  3. Paste both into Claude.ai

Open a fresh Claude.ai chat. Paste the master prompt and your filled INPUT-TEMPLATE.md (company profile + CSV). Hit send.

  4. Read the triage table and Go list

Output: a triage table scoring every opportunity 1–5 with one-sentence why-fit, why-not-fit, a recommended action (PURSUE / MONITOR / PASS), and a next step per row. Then a Go list for the top 1–2 candidates — each with a paragraph rationale that states the score, cites verbatim text from the opportunity row, and ends with a concrete first action. Inferred claims are tagged [VERIFY].

  5. Move the pursue list into your CRM

Take the top 1–3 opportunities into your capture process. The brief footer includes the Claude model used and the date — so when you re-run the same opp next week, you can compare.

What you get

  • PROMPT.md

The master prompt with company-profile placeholder, SAM-export placeholder, banned-phrase list, and explicit output-shape requirements.

  • INPUT-TEMPLATE.md

Fillable input template — Section 1 is the 3-sentence-minimum company profile (NAICS, certifications, past performance); Section 2 is where you paste the SAM.gov CSV export.

  • SAMPLE-INPUT.md

A realistic worked example — filled company profile plus a 5-row SAM.gov CSV covering strong fits, misses, set-aside mismatches, and NAICS adjacency.

  • SAMPLE-OUTPUT.md

The triage table and Go list produced from the sample input. Reference for what a correct output looks like.

Also included

  • README.md — install steps (none) and 5-minute usage flow
  • ETHICS.md — verify-before-pursuit posture, AUP-aware language
  • CHANGELOG.md — versioned for the lifetime-updates promise
  • loom-script.md — the demo Loom talking points (in case you want to record your own version for your team)

See it on a real export

1:48Open zip, paste prompt, paste 25-row export, get a brief. Under 2 minutes start to finish, recorded against a real SAM.gov export from this week.

Want to see what the output looks like before buying? Read the sample brief — same input as the Loom, full output, no email gate.

Pricing

$49one-time
  • Lifetime updates included
  • 14-day no-questions refund

If the prompt pack doesn't replace your morning scroll, refund it inside 14 days. The bar is honest, not exhaustive — if you opened the zip, ran it once, and decided it wasn't for you, that's a refund.

How we handle your data

Public data only

The pack processes the SAM.gov exports you bring to it. SAM.gov data is public. You're never pasting anything sensitive.

Runs in your own Claude.ai account

Open Claude.ai, paste the prompt and your export, get a brief. We never see your capability profile or your pursuit list. Zero retention via Anthropic's API contract.

Verify before pursuit

Every fit score quotes verbatim opportunity text. Inferred claims (suggested contacts, response-window estimates) are tagged [VERIFY]. Treat the brief as a first-pass triage, not a pursuit decision.

No install, no plugin, no account

It's a zip with text files. Claude.ai is the runtime. Anyone on your team can pick this up and run it the same morning.

Who buys this

If you're a solo BD consultant, a fractional BD exec, or a capture lead at a small shop — and you spend 30–60 minutes every weekday morning manually triaging SAM.gov saved-search results — this is for you. Decision under $50 on a personal credit card. Time-to-first-brief under 5 minutes.

If you bid 5+ RFPs a year and spend 6–16 hours per RFP building compliance matrices, the Compliance Matrix Builder Skill at $499 is the next step up. If you run a proposal shop and your reviewers spend 130–200 hours per RFP on rote review work, the Color Team Reviewer Agent at $3,500/yr/seat is the team-tier flagship.

Frequently asked

What's actually in the zip?

Eight files: PROMPT.md (the master prompt), INPUT-TEMPLATE.md (your fillable company profile + CSV slot), SAMPLE-INPUT.md (a realistic worked example), SAMPLE-OUTPUT.md (the triage table and Go list from that example), README.md, ETHICS.md, CHANGELOG.md, loom-script.md. No code, no install, no plugin. Plain text files.

Why a prompt pack and not a Skill or an Agent?

Two reasons. One: the price point. At $49, the friction of installing a Skill kills conversion — most buyers want copy-paste in a fresh chat. Two: portability. Anyone on your team can use this on their own Claude.ai account the same morning. Skills and Agents (the Compliance Matrix and Color Team products) are how we ship the bigger SKUs.

Can I run this on a SAM.gov saved search I haven't exported yet?

No — the pack requires a CSV export with 7 specific columns (Notice ID, Title, Agency, NAICS Code, Set-Aside, Posted Date, Response Date). If the CSV header is missing or malformed, the prompt refuses with a fixed error message that tells you exactly which columns to add. Export your saved search from SAM.gov first; the README links to SAM.gov's export instructions.

Does it work for state and local procurement portals?

The pack is tuned for federal SAM.gov vocabulary — NAICS, PSC, set-asides, FAR-aware language. It will run on state/local opportunity text, but the fit scoring is calibrated to federal capture. State-and-local-specific tooling is on the roadmap.

How accurate are the fit scores?

Every score quotes verbatim text from the opportunity to justify itself. The score is a first-pass triage, not a pursuit decision. Treat it the way you'd treat a junior analyst's first-pass read: useful for ranking, mandatory to verify before any real pursuit work.

What's the refund policy?

14-day no-questions refund. Open the zip, run it once on a real export, decide. If it doesn't replace your morning scroll, refund it.

Will this stay current with SAM.gov format changes?

Yes — lifetime updates included. SAM.gov occasionally tweaks export shapes; when they do, the pack ships an update inside CHANGELOG.md and your license key gives you fresh download tokens.

Can I share the pack with my team?

The license is single-buyer. If 3+ people on your team want their own copy, the math tips toward the [BD Pipeline Stack Bundle](/bundles/bd-pipeline) — which includes this pack, the Forecast Sweep Skill, and team-tier seat counts.
